3rd and 4th Grade Rules

1. 2-15 minute clock (Running clock, Except last min of both halves). All shooting fouls will have stopped clock.
2. 5 minute halftime
3. 2 time outs per half, per team. Cannot be carried over to second half
4. A designated scorer will keep score.
5. There will be a 2-minute overtime period with one time out given to each team. If the score is still tied, then sudden death. First basket wins. Stopped clock in effect.
6. Jump ball starts first half. Change of possession will be kept by the scorekeeper.
7. Foul shots only when fouled in the act of shooting (2 shots) otherwise taken out of bounds
8. You can play game with only 4 players
9. Teams may play zone or man to man defense
10. After a defensive rebound the opposing team must drop back past half court.
11. Each player receives 6 fouls. After 6 fouls player is disqualified.
12. All substitutions must report to the scorers table.
13. No stall rule in effect for the entire game (referee decision)
